A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ekiti state, Captain Sunday Adebomi has expressed concern over the rate at which governor Ayodele Fayose is chasing investors away from the state through his harsh economic policies.
This is contained in a press release signed by the Director General Sunday Adebomi Political Organization SAPO,Mr Yomi Oso in Ado Ekiti.
Captain Adebomi explained that the level of unemployment was increasing in Ekiti because those who supposed to create jobs for the teeming unemployed youths had been sent packing by the state government.
The governorship aspirant in this year’s election cited that the outrageous tax system of Governor Fayose had sent many banks in Ekiti including GTB away while Eco bank had its own share of the unfriendly policies of the government which led to the sack of hundreds of staff.
Captain Adebomi who hails from Ise Ekiti in Ekiti South senatorial District said that the latest news on how Governor Fayose wants to allegedly liquidate the Gossy Water company in Ikogosi Ekiti should be resisted by everyone who means well for the state.
According to the astute politician, Ikogosi warm spring was revived and rebranded to a world class standard by the immediate past administration on the platform of APC, saying that Fayose should not be allowed to destroy this commonwealth which had attracted thousands of tourists and brought Ekiti state to limelight.
He restated his readiness and desire to participate and lead a government capable of restoring hope to Ekiti people and giving them the real dividends of democracy.
Captain Sunday Adebomi conclude his submission by advising Governor Fayose to create business – friendly environment for investors through which wealth could be created for the betterment of the state and its future rather than taking steps to destroy the future of the young ones through selfish and destructive economic programs.
