Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has again described the anti-corruption campaign of the Muhammadu Buhari administration as hypocritical and condemnable.
Fayose’s grouse this time is on the reinstatement of the director general of the national health insurance scheme who is currently facing corruption charges.
The governor while addressing newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the state capital on Wednesday condemned the buhari administration for running an anti corruption campaign seen to be protective of sacred cows.
He also spoke against a statement credited to the police public relations officer, Jimoh Moshood describing the Benue state governor as a drowning man, an action he believed the inspector general of police should apologise for.
The governor also reacted to the arrest warrant for the spokesperson to former president Ibrahim Babangida, Kazeem Afegbua over comments credited to his boss. He sees this as an attempt to muzzle dissenting voices.
