Youths in Ekiti State have observed a three-day of fasting and prayer to seek the face of God in the Nigerian project.
The special fasting followed an earlier prophecy by Prophet Adebayo Adekola who revealed that the youths needed to break the yoke of their annihilation in the socio-political scheme of things in Nigeria.
The grand finale of the three-day fasting and prayer was held at Dave Hotel, Ado-Ekiti, on Sunday.
Adekola, minister in charge of Prayer Barracks International, said: “This is the time for Nigerian youths to be enthroned. God has shown me that, starting from 2018, there shall be a total overhauling of the Nigerian political system that will open doors for new breed of godly leaders who will turn the story of Nigeria around.”
In his sermon tagged ‘Destined For Enthronement’, Prophet Funso Enoch of God’s Generals Ministries charged Nigerian youths to remain courageous and steadfast, as God is set to deliver the government into their hands.
He added: “Quiver not about the limiting factors militating against you; they will be used as tools and stepping stones towards the fulfilment of God’s will concerning you for Nigeria.”
He cited many countries like France where youths held sway politically.
The programme, which featured various youth groups across all strata, had in attendance Tosin Ajibare, the face of Ekiti youths in the July 14, 2018 governorship election and other young aspirants to various political offices.
In his special session of impartation, Prophet Enoch, alongside other men of God present, anointed the aspirants. They further sacked all enemies of Nigeria responsible for her predicaments during a prayer of agreement, giving red card to established groups manipulating the people in the process.
They promised to give spiritual backing to the youths, while urging them to be steadfast.
Olanrewaju Ojuoluwa, a youth advocate and organiser of the programme, thanked the clerics for their fatherly and spiritual support and encouragement.
“Now, we are rest assured the more that God is involved in our sojourn to liberate our fatherland,” he said while appreciating everyone who had taken time to attend the event, urging them to keep up the good fight for Nigeria’s salvation.
